The 600 Micron Filter Basket, also known as a honey strainer, is designed to remove large debris from honey during the extraction process. With a coarse 600-micron mesh, this filter effectively strains out pieces of wax, comb, propolis, and bees while allowing honey to flow through quickly.

This strainer is sized to fit inside a standard 5-gallon bucket and is commonly used beneath an extractor as honey drains directly into the bucket. The plastic construction is lightweight, durable, and easy to clean between uses, making it a practical tool for routine honey harvesting.

Because of its coarse mesh size, this filter does not remove pollen from honey. All natural pollen granules pass through the screen, preserving the honey's original characteristics.
