The BroodMinder-TH2 combines temperature and humidity monitoring in one compact device. It sits on top of brood or honey super frames to record hive conditions as heat rises through the colony, with accuracy to 1°F for even the smallest changes.

A key feature is Temperature Event detection, which identifies sudden spikes such as those caused by swarming. When triggered, the sensor switches to 1-minute sampling for detailed recording. If connected to a BroodMinder hub, these events can also generate email or text alerts, giving you immediate updates on hive activity.

Built with a redesigned, low-profile housing (1/4" x 1"), the TH2 is unobtrusive yet reliable. It's powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery with a 2-year life, so it needs little maintenance.

As part of the BroodMinder wireless ecosystem, the TH2 works seamlessly with other devices for comprehensive hive monitoring.
